and, in my searching for portugal's ban, know what i found out? everything on the euro bills is fictional. i think that's hilarious...they represent periods of european architectural styles, but there were too many actual samples to choose from, and too many feelings to hurt, so they designed fictional representations of each period. 

I sort of figured that was their scheme, as I couldn't find any reference to what exactly was on the 500 note.. thus the title ".. whatever is on a €500 note."

P.S. would it kill you guys to make your comments on the post you're commenting on? That is sort of the point..
